Under the name Web-it, MetaSpring started as a web design and development company founded by a group of college students over winter break in January 1999. In the years since, Web-it increased its service offerings to include branding, marketing, software development and interactive media. To reflect these additions outside of the web sector, Web-it was rebranded as MetaSpring in December of 2006.
